An idea of this story is based on the book by Jojo Moyes. There are some well-known actors in the film such as Emilia Clarke who played Louisa Clark, or just Lou, and Sam Claflin who played William Traynor, or just Will. The plot is far from predictable. There is an unusual love story, which has a surprising and shocking end to it. The main character is a girl Lou from a poor family. She needs money, but she loses her job in a cafe. So Lou found a new one: now she has to look after a disabled person, William Traynor.

The characters and the relationships between them are convincing, so every situation makes the viewer think about different life problems. Their arguments and misunderstandings, when Lou tries to change gloomy Will, are full of sense and pain. They try to solve their problems together and, as a result, get closer to each other. But did it make sense, if one of them finally made a decision on his own?
It’s also sort of refreshing how many romantic movie clichés are sidestepped in favor of giving Will’s condition (both physical and mental) a more delicate touch. Instead of a sexual opponent or overbearing families driving these two apart, the obstacle preventing their lifelong happiness exists solely in Will’s head. Will’s wrestling match with his demons – which are justifiable results of his unfortunate accident – makes for the type not normally found in this genre.
It’s the rare romance that becomes more beautiful by virtue of how it recognizes that even true love has its limits. Jojo Moyes adapted her own best-selling book, which helps
give ‘Me before You’ a singular inviting vibe instead of feeling like ‘The Fault in Our Stars 2.
